Learning Packages
Please note:

CCC has commenced an update of all Self Guided Learning Packages. All of the packages are currently being updated to ensure that their content reflects current best practice and reflects the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF).

Packages will begin to come back onto the website from 9th July 2010.

Assessments will open again from July 9th 2010 after the release of the new packages has commenced. If you have used Self Guided Learning Packages before, be sure to download the updated versions of the packages before you submit them for assessment. The RDU staff will not be able to accept any submissions from outdated versions of the packages.

From July 9th 2010, we will also be introducing a fee of $25 for assessment of Self Guided Learning Packages.

This fee will be a partial contribution towards the cost of the assessor and the one on one support they provide in assessing each package. People will be able to submit a package for assessment as an individual and also as a group. The assessment cost will be the same for each package regardless of whether it is submitted by an individual or a group.

About Self Guided Learning Packages

Community Child Care recognises that it is sometimes difficult for staff in children's services to attend training. With this in mind we have developed a range of free Self Guided Learning Packages. Each package includes self-help questions and work based assessment tasks. Assistance and support is available from the CCC Training Team for Victorian residents working through a package. Only representatives from eligible Victorian child care services can submit completed packages for assessment. A Certificate of Completion will be issued on successful completion and assessment of each package. People from states other than Victoria can download the packages but will need to contact the PSC in their state regarding assessment.
